Common Truck Fault Diagnosis | Driver Self-check Manual
As an experienced driver, you should have common truck fault diagnosis knowledge. Let's learn it together.
① The engine cannot start
Possible reasons:
Battery power is low (voltage is lower than 12V).
Fuel system intake (diesel vehicles need to be manually emptied).
Emergency treatment: Connect jumper to start, or check the fuel filter tightness.
② Insufficient power during driving
Troubleshooting steps:
Check whether the air filter is blocked (no dust falls off when tapping the filter element).
Scan OBD fault code (such as P0299 turbocharger pressure is insufficient).
Confirm urea level (National VI models need sufficient AdBlue).
③ Brake deviation
Main reasons:
One-side brake cylinder is stuck.
Uneven tire pressure.
Self-check method: Brake at low speed and observe whether the wheel drag mark is symmetrical.
Professional advice: Carry a simple tool kit (multimeter, tire pressure gauge, spare fuse) with you.
